Austin, Texas based graphic designer, Karen Barry has been designing, brainstorming, reorganizing, and coding the world around her for the past 15+ years. She has a knack for marrying art and copy with her clients’ brands, a true passion for layout and typography, and aims to bring a sense of comfort and ease to the creative development process with her clients.

Karen spent much of her career at The Austin Chronicle, where she wore many hats. As Production Manager, she led a team of talented designers and developers, art directed and managed the award-winning website, and collaborated on some of the most exciting and cutting edge ideas in the alternative press.

Simultaneously freelancing for local entrepreneurs and international organizations, as well as operating a wedding invitation and letterpress stationery business, it became clear that self-employment was the next step. Karen has enjoyed working with coaches and consultants, municipalities, universities, study abroad programs, theatre companies, music labels, interior designers, realtors, clothing boutiques, non-profits, and software companies. Her client list is as diverse as the broad range of talents she brings to the table.
